The excursion in Rethymno, Fodele and Armanoi gives you the opportunity to explore the city of Rethymnon, the capital of the Prefecture of Rethymnon, which is the 3rd largest city on the island Crete. At Rethymnon, depending on the time available, you can include a walking tour in the old part of the city and a visit at the fortress which is close to the port.
Depending on the starting point and the time available this tour can be a full day or a half day tour.
- Departure from hotel/port 9.00 (duration 6h- or 9h).
- Arrival at the center of the city of Rethymnon.
- Walking tour 30 min.
- Visit of the Venetian fortress 45 min.
- Free time for shopping or coffee in the old part of the city 45 min.
- Departure from Rethymnon and drive to Armenoi (20 min drive).
- Visit of the site of Armenoi 30 min.
- Return back to the hotel /port.
Of course you can change the program, and include or exclude sites and places of interest, in order to enjoy the day.
